Babar Azam is disappointed to miss the opportunity to experiment in the series against the West Indies.
Talking to the CricKhiladi after the rain in the fourth T20 match in Providence, Pakistan captain Babar Azam said that with good cricket in the series against West Indies, we wanted to increase our confidence, there was also a plan to try different combinations for the World Cup We thought that the experiments conducted here would help in planning for the future, we would also test the players in the batting order but unfortunately, we did not get that much opportunity.
He said that Pakistan had defeated Caribbeans in the last tour, this time too the victory of the series is welcome. There is an opportunity to show more abilities but rain and other factors like it are not under anyone’s control.
The captain said that the players have worked hard on their form and fitness. Being physically active is welcome, the credit goes to the players themselves and the management.
Replying to a question, Babar Azam said that after the success of the T20 series, the focus will now be on the Test matches. It will take a lot of hard work to subdue the Caribbean.
